Rural marketing centres are not so big.They are actually local collecting and distributing centres.They have mandies or wholesale markets which are significant centres for goods and services demanded by rural people. Urban marketing centres provide ordinary and specialised goods and services in urban areas.They offer manufactured products and markets for labour,housing,semi or finished products. Educational institutions and professionals like teachers,doctors,lawyers etc are also available.
