Ammonium chloride will have the highest solubility at 293 K temperature.
Given,
Temperature= 293 K.
To find:
The salt with the highest solubility.
Solution:
Let us take the following salts and assume we are mixing them in 100g of water at 293 K.
1. Potassium Nitrate.
2. Sodium Chloride.
3. Potassium Chloride.
4. Ammonium Chloride.
The solubility of the above-mentioned salts is as follows:
1. Potassium Nitrate = 32
2. Sodium Chloride = 36
3. Potassium Chloride = 35
4. Ammonium Chloride = 37
As we can see Ammonium Chloride has the highest solubility (37), hence it will dissolve the most in 100 g of water.
