Bhramaputra rises in Manasarowar,Tibet. As Tibet is a plateu(table land) the climate is generally hot and dry.So the rainfall is generally low which makes the volu, volume, of water to be low.But it takes a u-turn and enters Arunachal Pradesh,India.Where the rainfall is high, which increases the volume of the water. So therefore Bhramaputra flows with a thin course in it's upper course than it's lower course.
