I want to ask that we know that toothpaste are basic in Nature and we also know that base are bitter in taste then why don't we feel bitter taste of toothpaste

Toothpaste is not a strong base .It is weak in nature and their is many other natural & chemical ingredients are present in toothpaste. If toothpaste is strong in nature then it will burn our skin internally & externally.

Because when we do brush the chemical reaction take place in which acid + base = salt + hydrogen
