given= 12th term or a+11d= -13 ‐------eq 1 and S of 4 terms = 24 Sn=n/2[2a+(n-1)d] put values= 24=4/2[2a+3d] 12=2a+3d‐------eq 2 eq1= a+11d=-13 eq2= 2a+3d=12 making coefficient of a same by multiplying eq 1 by 2, we get eq1= 2a+22d now subtracting eq2 from eq 1 2a+22d= -26 2a+3d= 12 - - - __________ 19d. =-38 d = -2 putting value of d in eq1 we get value of a= 9 now sum of 10 terms= =n/2[2a+(n-1)d] =10/2[2(9) + 9(-2)] =5[18-18] =5[0] =0 answer= 0
