According to 10% law, only 10% of the energy entering a particular trophic level is available for transfer to the next higher trophic level, which means the first trophic level will have the highest concentration of energy and the last trophic level will have the lowest. For example, Solar energy (1000 J) → grass (100 J) → deer (10 J) → Lion (1 J). In this, at each trophic level 10% energy is decreasing and at last we can see that the lion (top consumer) have the lowest concentration of energy.
