8th term = a + 7d = 31 ......(i) 15 term = a+14d = 16+11th term a+14d = 16 + a + 10d a - a + 14d - 10d = 16 4d = 16 d = 16/4 d = 4.......(ii) Putting value of d in eq. (i) a + 7(4) = 31 a = 31 - 28 a= 3 A.P = 3 , 7 , 11 , 15 .........
