Here, a=3 , b=2√2 , c= -2 D = b^2 - 4ac = (2√2)^2 - 4 (3) (-2) = 8 - (-24) = 32 D>0 x = -b +\- √b^2 - 4ac _______________ 2a = -2√2 +\- √32 ______________ 2(3) = - 2√2 +\- 4√2 ______________ 6 Alpha= -2√2 + 4√2 _____________ 6 = 2√2 _____ 6 = √2 ____ 3 Beta = -2√2 - 4√2 ______________ 6 = -6√2 ______ 6 = - √2
