1.) The non-cooperation movement started with the participation of middle-class people from cities 2.) Students left their colleges and schools. 3.) Headmasters and teachers resigned their job. 4.) Lawyers also resigned their law firm and some Indian officials also left. 5.) Social councils were boycotted expect Madras' Justice party. 6.) Khadi clothes were used instead of mass -produced mill clothes. 7.) Liqour shops were picketed and people stopped using British Made stuff. 8.) People also went on strike and closed their shops and stores.
