    The impact of the ncm on the economic are : In cities middle class participants are most. they boycotted foreign goods , clothes and promote khadi In village the peasants started nai dhobi bandh very peacefully which led by baba Ramachandra(in Awadh) In tribal region they started militant guerrilla movement lead by alluri Sita ram raju.

    The effect of non cooperation movement on economic front was more dramatic. Foreign goods were boycotted, liquor shops were picketed, and foreign cloth was burnt in a huge bonfire. The impact of foreing cloth halved between the years 1921-22 and its value dropping from Rs 102 crore to Rs 57 crore. In many places traders refused to trade foreign trade and finance foreign goods.
