There are 3 lists 1) union list 2) state list 3) concurrent list union list look upto things that fall under central govt. State list are for the things that fall under a state jurisdiction or state laws. concurrent list is made of things that can be legislated by both state and Union govt. But if by any means a dispute happens btw both of them, UNION law prevails.
