    Length of hour hand of clock=4.9 cm Length of hour is the radius of the clock r=4.9 cm Circumference of the clock is C=2\pi rC=2πr C=2\times \frac{22}{7}\times 4.9C=2× 7 22 ​ ×4.9 C=30.8 cmC=30.8cm The hour hand moves two times a day from a point. Distance travel by the hour hand in one day is D=30.8\times 2=61.6 cm/dayD=30.8×2=61.6cm/day Distance travelled in a week i.e, 7 days D==61.6\times 7=431.2 cm/weekD==61.6×7=431.2cm/week Therefore, The distance travelled by the tip of the hour hand in a week is 431.2 cm per week.
