So, As per your question follow the below steps :- Given, X + Y = 180° 3X + 20 Let, the common factor be X. So, X + Y = 180° (3X + 20) + X = 180° 3X + X = 180° - 20° 4X = 60° X = (60 ÷ 4)° So, X = 15° If X is 15° then, 3X + 20 = 3 × 15 + 20 = 45 + 20 = 65° And x = 15°
