Polynomial:- 3x²-8x+2k+1 Let one zero be α Therefore second zero is 7α Now sum of zeroes= α+7α= -b/a => 8α = -(-8)/3 => 8α = 8/3 => α = 1/3 —1 Now product of zeroes =>α × 7α = c/a =>7α² =(2k+1)/3 Putting value of α from —1 =>7×(1/3)² = (2k+1)/3 =>7×1/9= (2k+1)/3 =>7/9=(2k+1)/3 =>21=18k+9 =>12=18k => k = 12/18 => k= 2/3
