If seven books and 5 pens cost rs 410,whereas 5books and 7 pens cost rs 334 then the cost of 3 books and 4 pens would be?

Let cost of book=b Pen=p This means... 5p+7b=410. ...(1). ×7 7p+5b=334. ...(2). ×5 49p+35b=2338 25p+35b=2050 By elimination method , we have P=12(cost of one pen) Therefore, Cost of 4 pens =4×p =4×12 =84 ans.
