height of object= 4cm Object distance = -10cm Focal length. = -20cm Using, 1/f =1/V +1/U -(1/20)= 1/V -1/10 1/V = -1/20 + 1/10 1/V. = (-1+2)/20 1/V. = 1/20 v. = 20 cm m =-v/u = -20/-10 = 2 •°•The image formed is Virtual, Erect and magnified. Also, m= hi/ho 2=hi/4 •°•hi = 8 cm
