Given √2 = 1.414.

To find : value of  √6 - √3 upto three places of decimal .

Solution :

We have , √6 - √3

= √2 × √3  - √3

= √3(√2 - 1)

= 1.732 (1.414 - 1)

[√3 = 1.732]

= 1.732 × 0.414

= 0.707

√6 - √3 = 0.707 Hence the value of  √6 - √3 upto three places of decimal is 0.707. Among the given options option (B) 0.707 is correct.
