convergent rays are the light rays from different points tend towards single point. divergent rays are the light rays starts from one point travel in different directions.

Converging:- The rays which reflect to meet at same point Diverging :-The rays which reflect to not meet at same point but it diverge . (Converging) means nearing of rays (Diverging) means faring of rays

Converging rays means which meet at one point, and diverging age means which diverge from a point.. converging in concave mirror and diverging in convex mirror.
