A force of 10N produce and acceleration of 2ms in a body of mass M1 and 5ms in a body of mass M2. What will be the acceleration produced by the same force when both the bodies are tied together​

Force=mass×acceleration In case 1 substituting values 10=M1×2 we get M1 as 5kg And 10 = M2 × 5 we get M2 that equals to 2kg Now both the bodies are tied together so the mass will be sum of both objects that is M1+ M2 = M' and we have to take force as 10N as per question So, 10 = M' × a a= 10/7 = 1.42 m/s²
