Zinc is more reactive metal than copper.That's why zinc displace copper from it salt solution and form zinc sulphate.

This happens because of the reaction of Zinc metal with copper sulphate solution. Zinc is more reactive then copper thus zinc displace copper from its salt solution and form zinc salt.
