    Let man's present age = x and His son's present age = y

    10 years ago , men's age was = x-10

    10 years ago , His son's age was= y-10

    According to given condition . we have 

    x -10 = 8(y-10)

    x-10= 8y-80

    x -8y -10 +80 = 0

    x -8y +70 = 0

    this is the required equation.
