Public sector is owned and run by Government. It's main aim is ...the welfare of common people . It's mostly not profit oriented. Example State Road Transportation, Railways Private sector is of individuals or groups of individuals involved in the production and manufacturing etc. It's main aim is to make profits. Comparatively looks for better quality and quantity in terms of working force and production as well. Example ..Many Private Corporate hospitals, Private Bus services. There are many Non governmental organizations which service oriented and volunteer to serve the society such as Environmental Protection Agency
