Acid - the substance which release hydrogen ion (h+)ion when dissolved in water is called acid. Base - the substance which release hydroxide ion (OH-)ion when dissolved in water is called base . Salt - it is one of product formed by the reaction between acid and base .

Acid:: They are sour in nature and, they turn blue litmus paper into red, they are generally corrosive in nature. 2Base :: they are bitter in taste, and they turns red litmus paper into blue , they are also corrosive in nature.3::: Salts are formed by the reaction acid and base to produce salts and water.
