We know , dipole Moment = charge × distance between charges . e.g P = Q × D given , P = 3.2 × 10-³² Cm and charge Cu+2 SO4-- Q = charge of 2 electrons so, 3.2 × 10-³² = 2× 1.6 × 10^-19 × D D = 10^-32+19 m = 10^-13 m hence , distance between Cupper and sulphate ions = 10^-13m
