    1) Two different cheques of different banks are cleared by the Central Bank because the commercial banks has opened their account with the Central bank.. 2) Central Bank settles the claims of the commercial banks with the minimum use of cash. 3) It helps the commercial banks to create credit on large scale. Please Read out all the functions and Monetary Instruments of the Central bank carefully. I am very much sure that one 5_6 marker question will be there on the respective functions.
