We know that,
A rational number can be written in p/q form wre as, an Irrational number cannot be written in p/q form.
√2 = 0.41421356 and so on...
(Non terminating, Non recurring )
Value of √2 never ends So we cannot write it in p/q form..
Hence, √2 is not a rational number. It is an irrational number.
