Yes, there are two methods as explained in NCERT. 1. Diploid egg cell is produced in apomictic plants and with no need of fertilization they perform parthenogenesis and form embryo. 2. Many of nucellus cells divides and protrude in the unfertilized embryo sac leading to the formation of multiple embryo in the embryo sac.
