A spherical mirror whose reflecting surface is pointed towards the centre of the sphere of which the reflecting surface of the mirror is a part is known as CONCAVE MIRROR. Whereas, CONVEX MIRROR is a spherical mirror whose reflecting surface is pointed away from the centre od the sphere of which the reflecting surface of the mirror is a part.
