5(2x+1 is the exponent of 5)÷5(-2 is exponent of 5) =5³ Since , when base is equal the power also becomes equal. So , 2x + 1 + (-2) = 3 ➡️ 2x + 1 - 2 =3 ➡️ 2x - 1 = 3 ➡️ 2x = 3 + 1 ➡️ 2x = 4 ➡️ x = 4/2 ➡️ x = 2
