Management is a process wherein various activities and functions are performed to achieve the various goals and objectives of an organization in an effective and efficient manner.
The following are the objectives of management:

Organisational Objectives:
1. Survival- It exists for a long time in the competitive market.
2. Profit- It provides a vital incentive for the continued successful operations.
3. Growth- The success of an organization is measured by growth and expansion of activities.
Social Objectives: It involves the creation of benefit for society.
Personal Objectives: These are the objectives of employees like good salary, promotion, social recognition, healthy working conditions.

The top officials of a country’s Government held a meeting in order to speed up the business growth. In the meeting it was decided that there was a need for granting several exemptions to the Business Units already established. Similiarly ,they felt that with a view to setting up new Business Units the young men needed to be encouraged.
