    Results were : 1). Most of the part of atom is empty. Because most of the alpha particles went straight 2). There is positive charge situated at the centre of atom. Because 0.14% alpha particles gets deflected. 3). The charge is concentrated in high density because 1 in 10^6 particle deflected by 180°. 4). Electron revolves around the nucleus with a continuous speed.
