During respiration our body's glucose gets react to oxygen to form CO2 ans h2o with heat energy as in photosynthesis co2 ,h20 and heat reacts to form c6h12o6 and co2 that's why respiration is known as exothermic reaction as well as the opposite of photosynthesis

Respiration is considered as an exothermic reaction because energy is released in this process. Glucose combines with oxygen present in our cells to form CO2 and H2O along with energy.
