1) Salivary glands = secrete saliva which has an enzyme called salivary amylase. It concerts 30% of starch present in the food into maltose. 2) Pancreas = secretes pancreatic juice which contains an enzyme known as pancreatic amylase. It converts the remaining 70% starch into maltose. 3) Intestinal Glands = secretes intestinal juice which contains an enzyme called Maltase. It converts the maltose in the food to glucose.
