Fire describes desire The poet says that ice and fire are responsible for the end of world ,how the fire groves like our desire raises Ice symbolizes the coldness and intolerance. The poet favours with those who agree that fire is responsible for end world Ice describes the haterd of one other

According to the poet, different people have different ideas on how the world will end. When some say that the world would end in fire, some others say that it would end in ice. Here, the poet equates fire with human desire and ice with hatred. As the poet has tasted both of them, he still favours the idea of FIRE. According to him, fire, which quickly engulfs one's whole life, can cause faster destruction than ICE, which gradually fills one's life with poison.
