Prove √5 is irrational (in short steps). Then, as sum of rational number (6) and irrational number (√5) is always irrational, 6 + √5 is also irrational.

If possible let 6+√5 is a rational number...... Let 6+√5 =a/b {a and b is co- prime number } # 6+√5 a/b # √5 = a/b - 6 # √5 = a -6b / b # products of rational is always rational # a- 6b is a rational number # √5 is a rational number # But we know that √5 is an irrational number # so it contradict the fact so our is asumalt is wrong...... ................
