Non metals do not displace H2 from dilute acid beacuse Hydrogen is placed at the top of the reactivity series of non metals and thus,other non metals cannot diaplace hydrogen from acid.

Hydrogen is also a Non metal thus it will not react Hydrogen whereas it can form a covalent bond.....
