Mahatma Gandhi start the civil disobedience movement Although thousands of people participated in the civil Disobedience movement , yet there were following groups that were not moved by the abstract concept of swaraj 1. Untouchable: untouchable or dalits or oppressed for long had been ignored by the Congress because of the fear of offending the sanatanis, the conservative high caste hindus. Dalit leader organised themselves and demanded reserved seats in education institutions and separate electorates for legislative council
