It is because Malthus theory is considered as one of the most pessimistic one.During the begining of 19th century birth rate where controlled,vaccine for all the epidemic diseases and there is an increase in food production.Also when the European adopted the Malthusian theory it created many problems also.It is not possible to adopt preventive check it also create decrease in population and the preventive check is not possible for our society.It also create many harmful to our nation. This is why malthus was criticised by Liberal and Marxist scholars.
