Binary fission:-~For unicellular organisms, cell division,or fission,leads to the creation of new individual.~ Protozoa split into two equal halves and amoeba, the splitting of two cells during division can take place. Fragmentation:- ~In multi-cellular organisms,with simple body organization this occurs.~ Spirogyra breaks up into small pieces upon maturation. These fragments grow into new individuals.

Binary fission: In this very process organism like amoeba divdes itself symmetrical and form 2 daughter cells Fragmentation: In this process the organisams after getting fully mature get detached from parent body.
