Area Of Triangle = 1/2*Base*Altitude = 44 cm (given) Base = 11 cm (given) , Let Height = x Hence, 44 cm = 1/2*11*x 44/11 = x/2 4*2 + x x = 8

Area = 44 cm (given) Base = 11 cm (given) Let the height be x Area of triangle = 1/2*base*height Then, 44 = 1/2*11*x 44*2 = 11*x 88 = 11*x 88/11 = x 8 = x Therefore, height (altitude) of the triangle is 8 cm.
