Ax3 + Bx2 + Cx + D A=1 , B=a , C = b , D= c Sum of zeros Alpha + beta + gama = -B/A Alpha + beta + -1 = - a Alpha + beta = - a + 1 Now , sum of product of zeroes Alpha beta + beta alpha + gamma alpha = C /A Alpha beta - beta - Alpha = b Alpha beta - ( Alpha + beta ) = b Alpha beta- ( - a +1 ) = b Alpha beta = b - a + 1 ( ans.)
