Potential resources: these are the resources which have been identified in a region but there use has not yet started. Developed resources:resources which are surveyed and their quantity and quality have been determined for utilisation. Stock :these are the resources which have the potential to satisfy the needs of human beings but human beings do not have appropriate technology to access these. Reserve: these are the subset of stock , which can be put into use with the existing know- how but their use has not been started
