Binary fission is a type of fission where a single parent divides to form two daughter cells. example :- amoeba. multiple fission is a type of fission in which a single parent divide into a multiple number of daughters. example:-plasmodium

BINARY FISSION =Type of fission wherein the parent body divides into two daughter cells. Karyokinesis happens only once. Eg :- Amoeba, Leishmania, etc. MULTIPLE FISSION = Type of fission wherein parent body divides into many daughter cells. Karyokinesis occurs multiple times. Eg :- Plasmodium.
