If I'm not wrong, you are lookin for The Ball poem.. right!! Then .. The ball was with the boy from such a long time and.. the boy had such a great memories with that... The Poet said that there is no use of buying another one.. because Anyone can Buy a ball to him , can bring a new ball to him but Nobody can never bring back the memories, the attachment, the leisure time he had spent with that... Nd Moreover The poet wanted the boy to realise his first senses of responsibility in the possessive world..
