DDL is stand for data definition language DDL command are create ,alter, drop. DML is stand for data manipulation language DML commands are select ,insert, delete ,update.

DDL stands for Data Definition Language. DML  stands for Data Manipulation Language. DDL statements are used to ceate database, schema, constraints, users, tables etc. DML statement is used to insert, update or delete the records.
