In a Democracy, power can be shared among various organs of government. In it, Power is equally divided into three parts and they all have right to check each other to balance that none can use power for other purposes. In a modern democracy Legislative, Executive and Judiciary are the 3 organs. So it is known as Check and balance system and also known as Horizontal distribution of powers.
