    P(x)= 2x²+kx-12 P(4)=2(4)²+k(4)-12 P(4)=2(16)+k*4-12 P(4)=32+4k-12 p(4)=-20+4k Now we have to find k; k=-20/4 k=-5 HENCE,k=-5
