Tangent OQ is equal to 25 CM Now distance between the point and the radius is 24 cm O is the radius of circle In triangle POQ Pythagoras theorem, (OP)^2 =OQ^2 +PQ^2 (25)^2 = OQ^2 + (24)^2 625-576 = OQ^2 OQ^2 =49 OQ= 7 CM Hence, radius is 7cm
