As iron is more reactive than copper, it will displace copper from copper sulphate solution and form iron (II) sulphate or Ferrous sulphate. Copper will deposits over the iron nail. The colour of the solution changes from blue to light green. Fe + CuSo4 ---> FeSo4 + Cu
