Given, PQ=24cm PR=7cm O is the center of circle To find shaded region In ∆PQR ar(PQR)= 1/2×PR×PQ 1/2×24×7=84cm^2 we know that RQ is the hypotenuse of ∆PQR and diameter of the circle then, To find RQ RQ^2=PR^2+PQ^2 RQ^2=24^2+7^2 RQ^2=576+49 RQ^2=625 RQ=√625 RQ=25cm area of circle semicircle, 1/2πr^2 1/2π×(24)^2 by solving using the value od π we get 6875/28 Area of shaded region= Area of semicircle- Area of tirange pqr 6875/28-84=4532/28ans
